Great video Populist. I watched them yesterday, and he speaks about what he knows.

I'm all for educating Sarah Palin on illegal immigration. But I think she's already been acquired by the pro-immigration lobby. She's a growth conservative and their type of growth means population growth, which means growth in immigration and higher birth rates, which means growth in poverty, which means growth in welfare, which means the opposite of what the words "fiscal conservative" mean in our language.
Growth in population through immigration and higher birth rates means more people than jobs which means a destitute mob controlling the votes and political, social and economic policies of our country, which means we end up with just what we're getting: a socialist police state, the complete opposite of what a true liberty-loving fiscal conservative should want, seems to me.
So either the conservatives who think like Sarah Palin and this "growth" crowd don't understand how a nation becomes or stays free and self-sustaining through fiscal conservatism, or the words are being redefined to lure people into a movement that will produce the opposite result of what most of the people joining it in good faith are seeking.
Any politician who claims they support economic growth and wants to see that growth in new housing starts instead of new industrial plant openings and wants to expand free trade instead of protect our trade is in my opinion, the cause of this disaster, not the solution.
Republicans must wake up to this reality and get back to the roots of their party which is job, wage and wealth growth, not population growth, which means we have to protect both our trade and borders in order to protect our jobs, wages and wealth which is how we maintain a free nation of free people.
There are 5 simple steps to fix our economy and restore our nation:
1. stop illegal immigration
2. pass the FairTax
3. protect our trade
4. legalize, regulate and tax under 2. the illegal drug trade
5. drill baby drill
And we can do this without spending 1 more cent or raising the national debt 1 more dime. I realize item 4 is controversial, but the illegal drug trade is one of the root drivers of illegal immigration, violent crimes, a growing police state and the accompanying loss of liberty and privacy for the citizens of our country.
When we do these 5 simple things, Americans will be employed, self-sustaining, earning good wages, saving for the future, investing in our companies and businesses, with more freedom and prosperity with less government and less taxes as it should be.
Our immigration problem is so out of control, it's changing the culture and political and economic philosophy of our population. We are becoming the country they left through a perversion of thought between what they know and don't know about freedom and how you maintain it.
Any politician or potential candidate for office who doesn't understand this is not part of the solution, they are in fact part of the problem.A Nation Without Borders Is Not A Nation - Ronald Reagan

So she did a flp flop?
Q: So you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
A: I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

Most governors have some idea, or are supplied with some number of illegal aliens that may reside within their state. The fact that she stated that she did not know about Alaska means that she may have no real idea about the impact that this creates for everyone. I wonder what is the situation in Alaska?
Is it possible that Sarah Palin lacks knowledge on what illegally allowing people who want to come here for jobs, family, and health does to Americans who want to survive here for their family, jobs, and health?
She is appearing in Nashville, TN, Feb. 6, 2010, with a great many people and groups totally against amnesty. Rep. Michele Bachmann, Phil Valentine (radio host), Rep. Marsha Blackburn(TN), Eagle Forum, Judicial Watch, Joseph Farah of WND, and others. Saying that you were for a pathway to citizenship would leave her standing alone among strong advocates for secure borders and no amnesty.

I remember holding my breath when he asked the question, especially since he set it up first by stating that he believed in legal immigration and that immigrants have enriched our country. And her answer was nothing short of a disappointment, for both their statements one may conclude that if all the illegals went home and came back shortly the legal way, or if they were granted some sort of amnesty, that suddenly our society would be enriched.
Now, I don't know about the neighborhoods, schools and hospitals where Glenn lives. I don't know about those things in Sarah's neighborhood. But I do know what illegals have done in mine. I want them gone. I do not want them back legally, or to stay here with some sort of pass. I don't want the status quo, it is totally unacceptable and has impacted my personal quality of life.
I am also furious after being hit by an illegal, who ran away, no license, no problem. The coward left his wife and baby in the car and ran. His brother and mother appeared and tried to tell the police he was the driver.
1. Leaving the scene of the accident - he was caught, handcuffed taken away. Was he charged with leaving the scene? No. It was not included in the charges. Hispanic cop. Free pass.
2. Giving false information to the police. Martha Stewart went to jail for less. Were charges brought against the mom and brother? No. Free Pass.
Would a US citizen be given these free passes by cops - either Hispanic or chalky European? No.
I worry about our border patrol being predjudiced in the same way, since most are Hispanic and they are supposed to be protecting our borders. How many have looked the other way? All the Hispanic organizations are so supportive of illegals, I worry that they might have hidden agendas.

I have thought about what each of you have said. It is when you see what illegal immigration does, when it touches you personally, or shows itself somewhere around you, you know that legalizing or excusing the illegal aliens is not acceptable, period.
Sarah Palin is being used by many to gather attention, and to spark interest in candidates and races, and just to use for dollars. If you are convinced that Sarah Palin is for a pathway to citizenship, and if she is going to be seen with others who are against this totally, they need to use the opportunity.
JohnDoe2 provided the link to her interview with Univision for us to view and to read. This interview with the transcript of the conversation below, needs to be sent to every one that is shouting out NO to amnesty. She needs to be questioned more on the amnesty issue, so others are not mislead, or just hoping that she is not an amnesty advocate.
No matter what Sarah Palin believes, Americans will not support pathway to citizenship.
Please email those that will be with Sarah Palin on Feb. 6th in Nashville. If they cannot change her mind, they can use that platform to speak out against amnesty. She appears to avoid the issue, and her silence, as long as she does not run for office, benefits us at this point.
Here is more of the questioning of Sarah Palin by Univision:
Governor, let me ask you about immigration. How many undocumented immigrants are there in Alaska?
I don't know, I don't know. That's a good question.
As governor, how do you deal with them? Do you think they all should be deported?
There is no way that in the US we would roundup every illegal immigrant -there are about 12 million of the illegal immigrants- not only economically is that just an impossibility but that's not a humane way anyway to deal with the issue that we face with illegal immigration.
Do you then favor an amnesty for the 12 or 13 million undocumented immigrants?
No, I do not. I do not. Not total amnesty. You know, people have got to follow the rules. They've got to follow the bar, and we have got to make sure that there is equal opportunity and those who are here legally should be first in line for services being provided and those opportunities that this great country provides.
To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.
