Governor reneged on her commitment
Jun 3, 2005
It appears that former Arizona Gov. Fife Symington is an angel compared to Janet "Reno" Napolitano. As a matter of fact a trial proved Symington was innocent of what the impeachment charge claimed. But former U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno protege Napolitano has proved herself to be a liar just like her mentor. She brokered a deal with the Legislature and then reneged on it. Because of her lie, the state is now in jeopardy of being found in contempt of court.
She claims to be the voice of the children. Which children? Illegal immigrants? From what I have found out, the Legislature had a model to work with directed by the federal court calling for money to be spent on 175,000 English-language learners in Arizona. A $42-million plan was developed, according to a story at azcentral.com, with most of it in the form of grants directly to the schools.
Now, that sounds reasonable â€â€RIP Butterbean! We miss you and hope you are well in heaven.-- Your ALIPAC friends
