Guns drawn, police stop van of illegal immigrants

Guns drawn, police stop van of illegal immigrants

    Police Blotter

Thirteen illegal immigrants from Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras may be deported after being pulled over at gunpoint by State Police and charged with immigration violations, said Ernestine Fobbs, spokeswoman for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

State troopers stopped a white Ford van Tuesday morning on Interstate 95 in Howard County after a 911 caller said a family member had been kidnapped by armed occupants of the van. The caller followed the van until police arrived. The suspects were unarmed, police said.

I wonder if a clever citizen made the call.

could be. people are getting so mad they will start making excuses to have the police pull people over they suspect are illegal, especially in areas where the police participate in the 287(g) program.
