    Hall says may write own immigration bill

    U.S. Rep. Ralph Hall (R-Rockwall) said he prefers a tougher immigration reform package than is scheduled to be considered by the Senate this week.

    Hall, speaking during the annual Audie Murphy Days celebration this past weekend, said he may write his own bill, should the measure reach the House of Representatives.

    “I am going to try and write an immigration bill that a great deal of people want me to write,â€

    Below is an account of a 2005 House Subcommitee hearing on the quality of work perfomed by L-3 Communications Integrated Systems cited by Rep. Hall on a more limited "Remote Video Surveillance (RVS") contract it was awarded by the U.S. government:

    Reportedly prominent in helping secure this lucrative federal contract for then "E-Systems" of Greenville was a daughter of Rep. Silvestre Reyes (D-TX) who evidentally is still employed by L-3 Communications despite an extensive federal investigation into this contract. Rep. Reyes is a co-sponsor of the "STRIVE Act" in the House.
