Thread: Harry Reid’s Favorables Fall to 19%

Well it good to see the public has become more aware of the illegal immigration issue and that many don't want a repeat of 1986; or the last three times they promised amnesty and secure boarders.

Harry Reid does not want this bill back on the table so he says for at least two weeks from now; but I believe he's probably working on it as I type. President Bush knows that the majority of Americans don't want this bill S. 1348. It defies all logic for him to ram it through as he promises when they fail to enforce existing laws. Build the fence at least and secure the boarders first. Then make it a federal offense to enter the country illegally; when caught you lose all future rights to become an American Citizen. At least it would end the never ending spiral we are in now and have been in for decades with no end in sight.

I have become disgusted with a government who's congress has become arrogant and resorts to name calling to quiet down those opposed. When the majority of Americans don't like this bill; which will not resolve the issue but continue it; you have to wonder how much they are receiving for selling out their own country. As for President Bush he is either misguided or naive or grossly incompetent on this issue.

He was actually mocking us when he said something about the signing of this bill!!
