This poll was conducted by leftwing Gallup and posted by a notoriously progressive (aka socialist) group founded by John Podesta. This group shamelessly advocates open borders, multiculturalism, globalism and endorses the slogan, "unity without uniformity." It cannot be trusted because it's radically biased toward the appeasement of illegal aliens generally and Mexicans in particular. Because CAP did not publish the entire poll nor provide a link, I must assume they cherry-picked the data which no doubt already was biased to the progressive view.

Tom2 has it right....don't let this poll get to you. It doesn't represent most Americans. Only the most liberal among us.
