He of little faith in Congress
PRIMGHAR, Iowa -- Did you ever hear of any country winning a war doing it politically correct? Having the country divided and fighting for power within? No, I think that all you have is mass confusion.
We can't even control our own borders. We have a Congress that has no backbone for bucking large corporate gifts for campaign funds for re-election. Seems that is number one on their agenda - get elected and stay elected. They don't hear the people who send them there or we wouldn't have the mess that we have on our borders. If the politically correct crowd thinks that pulling out of Iraq is the answer and the radical Jihad will stop at the open Mexican border, we are in deep do-do.
We have gone through this amnesty business before and all that did was encourage a flood of more illegals, but it seems that very few in Congress want to do anything about it except stall, talk and shuffle papers, and get all the pork that they can. Then we have the ACLU with a inexhaustible amount of money to sue smaller towns or cities into bankruptcy that want to pass ordinances to control the flood of illegals that the Congress doesn't have the stomach to do anything about.
As you can probably tell, I don't have much faith in our Congress. -- Robert G. Baxter
