Hearing Held On Alleged ICE Misconduct

ATLANTA -- There was a hearing about allegations of misconduct by immigration agents during workplace raids in Georgia and Tennessee on Thursday.

Two civil rights icons, Georgia Congressman John Lewis and the Rev. Joseph Lowery, were expected to attend the hearing that examined the policies and practices of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency.

The National Commission on ICE Misconduct and Violations of Fourth Amendment Rights heard testimony about raids at the Crider Poultry Plant in Stillmore, Ga., the Pilgrim's Pride plant in Chattanooga, Tenn., and the Swift and Company Plant in Marshalltown, Iowa.
