Look at the picture. Where are the "families"? Where are the "children"? Those are all young men who work for the cartels. Period.

They should not be fleeing their homelands, families, friends and relatives.

I agree, however, I suspect many of their family members, friends and relatives are already here. I imagine that is what is bringing some of them.

Which is why their illegal families need to be loaded up and deported too. This has been swept under the rug for too long and now it has hit crisis proportions and needs to be dealt with now.

Stop kicking the can down the road...no path to stay for 11 million illegal aliens or DACA or TPS!

Many of the illegals connection to the drug cartels are as victims, not members or eager workers. Sure many illegals will will carry a backpack full of marijuana across the border, but that is only a one time deal to pay their smuggling fee and/or they are being forced.

To give the impression that these caravan participants are all eager and willing drug mules is disingenuous IMO.

As for the caravan members, most of them are coming in large groups to protect themselves (safety in numbers) from the cartels and those arriving at the port of entries are not hauling drugs.

I'm not defending these illegals. Many of them probably do have criminal records in their own country and some of them are gang members and thugs. However, many of them are coming here to take American jobs, not as members of a drug cartel.

You apparently don't know or are refusing to acknowledge for some untold reason how these drugs are sold and distributed in the United States.

Historically the primary factor driving or dampening illegal immigration into the U.S. has been the availability of jobs.

That's impossible, because the United States has had massive job shortages for at least the past 40 years with not enough jobs for even our own citizens, let alone massive numbers of uneducated, unskilled illegal aliens. That's why we have poverty rates in excess of 12% for decades, why we have 49 million Americans on Medicaid, not counting the additional 25 million on Medicaid Expansion, 40 million plus on food stamps, and 60% of all K-12 students in public schools on some form of free school lunch.

There hasn't been a job taken by an illegal alien that wasn't stolen from a US citizen, legal immigrant or visa worker, with exception for some of the temporary ag jobs, and even then, it's only because Americans, green card holders and legal visa workers don't know about them on a broad enough scale to get to them in time ahead of the illegal aliens who are all networked into those jobs by the cartels.

MW, the old meme of "Jobs Americans Won't Do" was debunked here at this site a long, long time ago. There is no job an American won't do, never has been, never will be.

When Americans decide to take action to fix our economy and create good jobs for our own people, the meme that we are somehow the "primary factor driving" illegal immigration into the US, is just wrong, because we are not.

Illegal aliens who enter this country illegally, are criminals, from A to Z, top to bottom, and they all work for the cartels.

But, if you want to think these people are just hungry workers looking for a better life by filling jobs Americans won't do, have at it, but I don't.

Go back and read what I wrote. I said job availability. Nowhere did I imply that we had a glut of jobs or that there were jobs Americans wouldn't do. Those are your words, not mine.

Unfortunately, with access to illegal labor, which is cheaper for unscrupulous business owners, there are always jobs available!

Your attempting to shape the narrative to fit your own agenda and anyone paying attention can see right through it. Jobs have always been the biggest driving force behind illegal immigration and it continues to be so.

By your above response, seems you've twisted your argument to basically agree with what I'm saying. Illegal immigration is primarily driven by job availability (for cheaper labor), not the drug cartels. Thank you for agree with me.
