Why hasn't Trump stopped the flow of illegal aliens and drugs across the border?

I don't think that any of the designs I have seen for a border wall could not be broken through in a day, if not an afternoon. Why not just give me the $5 billion?

Huh??? A properly designed and deployed wall will deter illegal alien traffic. Furthermore, a properly designed wall would slow down intrusion long enough for border patrol to respond and react accordingly. There is no scenario where someone attempting to break through a properly designed wall should have a full day or a full afternoon to do so. If they do, than we obviously need more boots on the ground patrolling the wall.

Much of the fencing or so-called barriers we have now are not properly designed and are very vulnerable. Isn't that what this whole wall argument is about?

Is there something different about the 2 ports of entry in San Diego, California where you claim 80% of all the drugs are entering the US than all the other ports of entry on the border? I thought Trump was responsible for all the them including the 2 in California. Have you got some sneaky illegal deal going on there in California?

Well, I have to say, if a port of entry facility won't stop it, then facilities on the border aren't the answer.

It say's 80% of "fentanyl"

Border control is a federal responsibility,

so why can't Trump control the border?

Well, Trump is controlling the border. Last year, 2018, illegal border crossings were at 20 year lows. In 2017, they were at 45 year lows. There was an uptick in 2018, as you know, from this phony asylum-seeker scam and the caravans, but he's taken measures to address that.

As for the drugs. Well, as you should also know, I concluded over a decade ago that the only way to stop the drugs from entering the US is to put the cartels out of business, and the only way to do that is End the War on Drugs and legalize and regulate the recreational drug trade in the US. I've seen and heard nothing to change my mind on that. In fact, the Weed legalization proves I am right. Illegal marijuana shipments across the US southern border have dropped to 12% of their former levels.
