To the union bosses the right to work and citizenship issue from payment of union dues into their pockets. The American citizen is to have no more rights than the next person legal or not who is ready to hand the union boss a bag of money. The Georgia carpet companies should have paid for equipment to bring down their production cost and keep them operating using legal labor. A lot of Georgia carpet jobs went to illegal aliens who were still willing to work for low pay as the Americans left for other jobs and Atlanta.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

The wages that Jacinto earned over the last decade were enough to buy a minivan and a brick house with a yard and a swing set for his four young girls. It was a long way from his childhood home in Guatemala: a wooden shack without electricity or plumbing.
I don't know of ANY American taxpaying family with FOUR kids and earning "substandard" wages who can afford to buy a house AND a car in 10 years time! The American family has to pay those pesky taxes, insurance premiums on cars, home, health, utlilies, food.

We'd be able to afford a house if we weren't paying for the Jacinto's and their brood in this country!

Why is it that he are only hearing these sob stories about illegal immigrants? Isn't anyone paying attention to legal Americans losing their jobs or homes? Since when is the American Dream only for illegal immigrants?

The boom in American housing generated millions of new jobs for those willing to engage in physically demanding tasks, from factory work churning out floorboards, carpeting and upholstery, to landscaping, roofing and janitorial services. Latinos occupied widening swaths of these trades and filled large numbers of relatively high-paying construction jobs.

Like we didn't know. Only the spin on this is just plain stupid. I was born at night but not last night. Give me a break.

These people are suffering the same fate as that which they forced upon Americans and legal immigrants who lost everything they worked hard for and achieved after being shoved aside by IAs. And, what's so funny about all of this is that, while we may have fallen victim to IAs, they are suffering self inflicted wounds from the economic devastation they have caused this country.

What goes around, comes around and I could care less if every last one of them ends up losing everything . They came here with nothing, they can go home the same way.
    I feel the same way.

Has the RICO lawsuit against Mohawk been settled yet?

    non-Hispanic whites
I've seen this on other forms. Since when are we non-hispanic whites ? I suppose we're supposed to feel bad for Mexico too, since their citizens over here aren't sending as many US dollars back home these days.

I have heard it plenty of times myself "non- hispanic whites" must be someting LaRaza came up with to make it sound like we are second class citizens in our own country.

Hispanic's in jails are also classified as "white" this is one of the reasons they do not know the true #'s of hispanic's commiting crimes.

Others in his situation have returned to Mexico, he said, discouraged by the deteriorating job market and a recent surge in crackdowns against illegal immigrants. If things do not soon improve, so will he, though he is pained by the thought of having to lean on the very family he is supposed to be supporting.
Boo hoo, I am crying................ TEARS OF JOY
