I have heard it plenty of times myself "non- hispanic whites" must be someting LaRaza came up with to make it sound like we are second class citizens in our own country.

Hispanics can be of any race. Some of us are considered racially Caucasian, being but a generation or two removed from Europe, but still ethnically Hispanic. That's why in some forms you see different categories for "White Hispanics" and "Non-Hispanic Whites".
