Homeland unveils immigration enforcement plan

WASHINGTON — The Homeland Security Department has revamped a program using local and state law enforcement to help round up immigrants who have committed crimes.

The department says 11 law enforcement agencies are ready to participate in the redesigned program.

Government investigators had criticized the program for not clearly spelling out when officers could use their arrest authority or whether it was meant
for the pursuit of serious offenders.

The department says a new agreement with participating agencies spells out the extent of local officers' authority.

Round up ALL illegal aliens, their families too and deport them!!!

We already know it will be a watered down version and local police will only be allowed to arrest Illegal Alien mass murders or some similar horse hockey.

ALL IA's encounered by police MUST be arrested and turned over to ICE according to our currant Immigration Laws.

As a military veteran, the government's attempts to ram home amnesty for CRIMINALS is a grotesque slap in the face for all the men and women in wars gone by who fought and/or lost their lives defending this country's border integrity and national sovereignty. It's a disgrace to the soldier's who fought and died and in some cases came home wrecked from fighting for this country. I had an uncle under Patton who came home mentally wrecked after what he'd been through and seen. I had a great uncle get his guts blown out on Anzio Beach by a 50 cal round at age 18 defending the US. Another uncle fought over Italy in the Air Force. My grandad came from Austria and had to serve in WWI to get in this country. He didn't slink over an unguarded border and then whine about the law and the constitution and demand what wasn't legally his. I don't normally write Washington much but on this issue I had to at least do SOMETHING. It's time to wake up, America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
