Thread: Homeland Security secretary Kirstjen Nielsen reportedly drafted a resignation letter

Trump is the idiot who hired her in the first place based off the recommendation of his globalist COS John Kelly. Screw resigning, have the guts to tell her YOU'RE FIRED just like you used to do on TV. Fire them all, every last globalist cabinet member and start hiring PRO MAGA people. Kris Kobach would be the best DHS SEC ever, he was made for this job. You Mr Trump passed on him twice. Heck even Sherriff Joe would be good, at least keep him from screwing over Kelli Ward in AZ. You Mr Trump have hired two globalists to do the job, you have failed. If the next one you vet has ever served under a Bush, Clinton or Obama, if the response is not a HARD PASS, you have failed as a president. Anyone who has ever served under Bush, Clinton or Obama should be automatically disqualified from serving in your administration if you truly believe in MAGA.

As far as Ms. Nielsen goes, she was hired because she is a decent looking blond woman, nothing more. Wouldn't surprise me if she slept her way to the top. She was clearly not qualified for this position. Anyone who supports amnesty for illegals should not be heading up DHS. Trump better get his head out of his arse quick if he wants to think about getting reelected. Begging illegals to obey the law? PATHETIC! You don't beg for anything, you make them obey the law you weak kneed bimbo.

Get Sherriff Joe, Sherriff Babeu of Arizona! Plenty of Sheriff's to get into DHS!

Report: DHS Secretary Nielsen ‘Implored’ Not to Quit by John Kelly As Illegal Immigration Skyrockets

President Trump allegedly laid into Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen during a White House meeting, as border crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border continue to skyrocket, according to a new report.

In a cabinet meeting attended by advisers Stephen Miller, Kellyanne Conway, Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, Larry Kudlow, and Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Trump blasted Nielsen for failing to secure the southern border, the Washington Post reports:

Trump lashed out at his Cabinet, and Nielsen in particular, when told that the number of people arrested for illegally crossing the Mexico border topped 50,000 for the second consecutive month. The blowup lasted more than 30 minutes, according to a person with knowledge of what transpired, as Trump’s face reddened and he raised his voice, saying Nielsen needed to “close down” the border. [Emphasis added]

“Why don’t you have solutions? How is this still happening?” he said, adding later, “We need to shut it down. We’re closed.” [Emphasis added]

Indeed, border crossings have continued to soar under Nielsen’s direction at DHS. For example, as Breitbart Texas reported, border crossings in March approached Obama-era levels of illegal immigration at the border. Last month, border crossings continued to increase, with nearly 40,000 illegal aliens crossing the border.

The increase in border crossings, coupled with a caravan of Central Americans which stormed the southern border, has reportedly created tensions between Nielsen and Trump. As Breitbart News reported, Nielsen allegedly almost quit after being blamed for not securing the border, though DHS officials say the claim is untrue.

A separate report, however, by Fox News’s John Robert, reveals that Trump’s Chief of Staff John Kelly had to call Nielsen following the meeting to ask her not to quit.

While Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions have taken tough approaches to illegal immigration and the caravan, Nielsen in her most recent testimony before Congress begged asylum-seekers to use the ports of entry to enter the U.S. legally, a move that experts say was a “colossal mistake.”

“If you are fleeing and you have a need to come to the United States, please come to the ports of entry. You — you — you know, we will process your claim there,” Nielsen said. But if you come across the border illegally, you’ve — you’ve broken the law and we have to prosecute. It’s the only way to keep our border — to have a border.” [Emphasis added]

Nielsen formerly worked for President George W. Bush, when thousands of illegal aliens were allowed to enter the U.S. after Hurricane Katrina to take coveted blue-collar jobs. Nielsen also previously authored a report promoting mass immigration as a win for big business.

Trump dear, get rid of both Kelly and Nielsen. I know why you transferred Kelly to Chief of Staff, he was a mistake at DHS. But all it's done is lead to another one. Get a Fire and Fury person in that job. Nielsen is weak, weak in style, weak in personality, weak in actual knowledge, just WEAK, WEAK, WEAK all the way around. You need a Bull in a China Closet in that job. A fighter!! An articulate fighter. A clever smart Border Warrior, not a snowflake like Nielsen.

Appoint a proven tough guy. Andy Puzder. He's got the style, the knowledge, the management experience, the logistics knowledge, the business knowledge to know all the schemes and scams, he's got it all. He adores you, he will be loyal to you, he is results-oriented, from an industry that functions on time and motion studies, he's extremely articulate, and he's a fighter. I don't know if he'd do it, but you're a long way down the line now so it will be much easier to get him through Senate now than before. You can not allow these illegal immigration illiterates like Kelly and Nielsen to remain in your administration, get these WEAK WEAK WEAK inarticulate people out of your administration.

Surely you jest! He wasn't a good candidate when Trump tried to hire him for Labor Secretary and he would be an even worse Secretary of DHS.

Andy Puzder is a big foreign labor and illegal immigrant amnesty supporter! Heck, he supposedly even voiced his support of the "gang of eight" amnesty bill.

He's probably not interested. But he's a highly competent person, a fighter, with the right skills. What you're talking about we've already discussed ad nauseum. He was President of the National Restaurant Association at the time of the Gang of Eight bill and as such, his job was to take the position of the association members. That does not disqualify him from taking another job with a different mission. In business, you take the position of your employer, shareholders or association you represent. For example, if you're in the US military and your job is to defend our country, do you get to roll your personal views into whether or not you fight for our country or stay home? Maybe before you join, but once you're in, you go and do as your told even if you can't even find Vietnam on a map or didn't believe Colin Powell's lie about MWD in Iraq. You do it because it's your job.

You can have all the anti-illegal immigration people in the world working for DHS, but UNLESS they know how to stop it, it's all talk, no action, no results, no change. You need skill sets from business people who put their personal views aside and get the job done for the country. And personally, I think Puzder agrees with Trump on illegal immigration, what smart person wouldn't? It's a disaster, a mess, a failure, a cost burden, a nasty scourge that is bankrupting our nation. Andy understands that. That's why he's such a great Trump Supporter.

Andy Pudzer's amnesty and foreign labor positions makes him a non-starter for Secretary of DHS. To defend him by making excuses for his solid positions in support of amnesty and more foreign labor doesn't work.

To even mention Andy Pudzner in the same sentence as Department of Homeland Security is a joke. Trump would literally be ostracized by a vast majority of anti-illegal immigrant groups and individuals if he even attempted to sneak Pudzer's name in as a consideration for Secretary of DHS.
