Are we talking the STD herpes or herpes in general?

I am all for checking people out and no entrance if they have diseases. If they are diseases that can be cured, then do like they did years ago and treat them.

If they are diseases that can't be cured and will be an ongoing problem and contagious - we don't need it.

I AM usually of fan of getting vaccinated, but this one is just way too new, in my opinion, to force it on young girls. My oldest is just 5, and hopefully by the time she is 11 we'll know more about it's safety, but until more is known about Gardisil (sp?) I wouldn't want my child to have this vaccine, and sure wouldn't want it forced on her. I have to agree with the immigrants on this one. I think the illegals are the ones who we need to be nervous about anyways, like the ones who aren't even tested for TB.

I'm with you on waiting. This is too new and it's a little strange they are so determined to make it mandatory.

You are also right about the illegals. This country doesn't seem to be at all conccerned about any contagious diseases the illegals are bringing.

Maybe it's that they have a supply of this expensive vaccine, and few takers in this country and they really, really, really, need to sell it so they are enlisitng the government to force someone to pay them for it.

Again, maybe it is human testing. I can't think of another group of young girls they could vaccinate that would be so easily tracked - for their entire lives, or as long as they are in the US. That seems like an inexpensive way to conduct a trial, doesn't it?

Vaccinate all these young girls and over the years, when they show up at a doctor's office, clinic, hospital, etc., there would be a record and all those could be correlated.

Yes, guinea pigs.

Remember all the drugs they suddenly warn you about then take them off the market. Then the lawsuits start.

How about Viagra? They give it out to every guy that GOES to the Dr!
It's like candy to get them to come in. It's women that go all the time.
They make their money off women.

Now they say you can lose your hearing and vision when you take Viagra.
Don't forget that heart attack side-effect.

You know we don't hear about the side effects until quite a few lawsuits have gone forward - sometimes it takes a big class action suit to get to the public - if it ever does.

The first cases get settled out of court and the settlement is sealed and the participants sign a deal to never speak of the suit.

That is so wrong. I wonder how many people's lives could be saved if we knew about these lawsuits from the first one. How many years before the word gets out.

The judges, the lawyers - all of them, the drug companies, the FDA and the claimants themselves are to blame.

The federal rule added Gardasil to the list of vaccinations that female immigrants ages 11 to 26 must get before they can obtain "green cards."

Okay, who gets to make money fron this horrible rule?

Gardasil hasnt been on the market long enough to study any long term effects that result after initially taking the drug. VERY BAD, BAD IDEA.
