    looserville:

This one's for you: (a very good local brewer - just IHMO):

    http://www.fullsailbrewing.com/default.cfm

Local, independent, employee-owned, business-wise very responsible, environmental-friendly, etc. Oh, and they make a GREAT BEER!

(congrats on the Mod spot too - in case I hadn't already said so)

    CC:

Yeah, I hear ya'. I think it's just more 'entitlement think'. Lucky for me, I just scanned through the article looking for the name Miller - I didn't bother reading the rest (I've heard all that dribble before ! <g>)

Ah, I just now see the ALIPAC to launch national boycott of Miller over in the latest headlines in the left of the page here. I LIKE IT!

W: Is it possible to get a lot of support from affiliated organizations also?
Also, I'm getting ambiguous or non-conclusive results looking up the US Miller Brewing stock symbol. If anyone else that is familiar looking up stock symbols should care to jump in and dig that out - well, feel free (not my specialty)

Line in above post should be corrected to say:

    Not 'affiliated organizations'
But rather, 'sympathetic or similarly-minded orgs...' etc.

    Just to be clear...

Can anyone get us Miller Corps stock symbol, current price and graphs?

There is a stock market symbol all right, just not an American (NYSE) one. It pulled up it's U.S. stakes a few years ago.

With all this "waffling," the Miller CEO should be nominated for the Weekly Weasel Award.

Words of wisdom from Coto, i agree, we should still hammer Miller

    1. It's simple....Miller needs to chose sides, and live with their decision. There is a BIG DIFFERENCE between their Latino market, and being supportive of Illegal Aliens. Seems clear to me that they want to keep their Latino market share, so are siding with the Pro-Illegal Alien movement...which then means the REST OF AMERICA needs to Boycott them....simple enough.

    2. Buying even ONE SHARE gives you some serious ACCESS to corporate paperwork that you could not see otherwise.

    loservillelabor, Quote,

We can't dump these products in the harbor, but we can make it the oldest stuff on the shelf. Put'em in "boycotts."

If someone could arrange a symbolistic boston tea party with several people dumping miller beer in the harbor and manage to get some media attention for the "party" it might get some much needed attention for our side!

I just sent an email to Media Relations at SABMiller letting them know my frustrations and that this was the last straw and I'm switching beers. I also signed the petition at millerboycot.com First was there support of NASCAR's new #2 driver (Busch) and now this, I'm done with them. It doesn't matter how they try to get out of this one.
