The San Bernardino Superintendent of Schools has just issued a new brochure to inform illegal immigrants of their "right" to pursue higher education in California.

Accordingly, a state law (AB 540) allows longtime residents, which includes illegal immigrants, to pay in-state tuition fees at public colleges and universities. On the national level, the Supreme Court has ruled that illegal immigrants are entitled to a "free" public education from kindergarten through 12th grade.

This is utterly ridiculous that not only do we allow illegal immigrants to stay, but that we pay for their education and healthcare as well- and now we are advertising our "generousity"? Is it just me, or has someone been drinking San Francisco's Kool-Aid?

Education is the key to success in life. But perhaps what we should be "educating" our politicians and illegal immigrants on is how to become a legal citizen of this country- and not how persons here illegally can milk the system.

Wait a minute! Brochure is only available in Spanish and English. Now that is discriminatory against the Portugese, Russians, Chinese, Creoles, Greeks, Finnish, Brazilians, Pakistanis, Afghanis--should I go on?

Wasn't this disussed on Lou's show today? Kris Kobach, on behalf of Judicial Watch, was interviewed about sueing CA for allowing illegals instate tuition which in their view violates federal immigration laws.

But I thought that illegals only do jobs Americans refuse to do? Does that mean we'll have a bunch of college educated busboys, tomato pickers and toilet scrubbers?
