Thread: ICE's Secure Communities are Spreading

While some people spend their time agrueing over how many have criminal records I.C.E. spends their time deporting illegals.

According to the coalition's calculations . . . 78 percent of the people detained by ICE in Illinois, and 27 percent detained nationally, had never been convicted of a crime.

A Chicago-region ICE spokeswoman responded to reporters' inquiries about the accuracy of the data by offering different figures for Illinois (44 percent) and the U.S. (37 percent) of those lacking a criminal record.

I don't have a news article to go with it, but Laramie County is now Wyoming's first Secure Community. (Out of 23 counties.)

And North Carolina now has 85 of it's 100 counties activated.
