Angel Eduardo Luna-Martinez, 23, is charged with felony counts of trafficking in cocaine and delivery of a controlled substance after Ada County Sheriff's deputies say he sold more than an ounce of cocaine to an undercover officer.

Luna-Martinez was arrested Thursday afternoon and is being held in the Ada County Jail on the drug charges and an immigration hold by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.

Ada County Sheriff's officials say Luna sold to an undercover officer cocaine twice in public parking lot areas in Ada County over the last month, a half-ounce the first time and an ounce the second time.

Luna-Martinez will make his initial court appearance on the drug charges later Friday.

The charge of trafficking in cocaine is punishable by up to life in prison.
