Idaho business push for immigration reform

BOISE, Idaho - The director of a coalition of businesses pushing for immigration reform told the Senate Agricultural Affairs Committee on Tuesday that one solution to immigration problems is for foreign workers to hold identification cards tied to their specific employers.
Brent Olmstead, the state coordinator for the Idaho Business Coalition for Immigration Reform, told senators that such a card - similar to a program set up after World War II - would identify workers in a simple yet reliable manner, and if they left the business the cards would be invalid.
