    Local Immigration Enforcement

    Winnebago County is looking into enforcing illegal immigrant problems at the local level. County board members along with Sheriff Meyers are investigating the way other municipalities across the state and even country deal with their individual issues with undocumented immigrants. Currently, the county passes the person's name and current address on to the federal government to handle when or even if they have the chance, but that could all change soon.

    Wow I hadn't heard about this. Thanks for the fantastic news. I'm going to post this on my town's board asap. If you haven't heard our mayor turned down the chance of having an immigration conference in town. Real forward thinking guy....
