    illegal alien arrested for burning US Flag on July 4th

    New Philadelphia -- Police say a man stole a flag from a display and then set it ablaze.
    Officers say the downtown of New Philadelphia has been decorated in flags to celebrate Independence Day.

    Police say the man took one of the flags from the front of a business on West High.

    Officers found the man a short distance down the street with the flag still burning. They say he was intoxicated.

    The man could not speak English and through a translator gave his name as "Marco Polo." He told the translator he is originally from Mexico.

    The man was arrested and charged with desecration of the U.S. flag and theft.

    He's due in court on Wednesday.

    New Philadelphia is located in Tuscarawas County.

    He won't show up and the authorities will do little to find him.

    Now, now, you KNOW this fine citizen-to-be will WANT to comply with the law and show up in court on time, and apologize for his 'borrowing' of our flag. I'm sure he was just cold and needed some warmth, and that's why he burned our flag.

    Why not make a big barb-q pit and instead of using wood, use a mound of Mexican flags? Turn about is far play, right?

    You can bet that "Marco Polo" is most likely an illegal alien, no mention of that though
