An illegal Mexican immigrant who has been deported from the U.S. no less than four times was arrested in Texas after he threatened to kill a neighbor and was found with a loaded gun in his truck.

Omar Garcia-Vasquez, 44, was arrested on Tuesday in McLean, just east of Amarillo. A sheriff’s deputy responded to a 911 call about “a man with a gun,”the Amarillo Globe-News reported.

The caller said a man had threatened his family, according to a charging document filed in U.S. District Court in Amarillo on Friday.

The caller identified Garcia-Vasquez as he was getting out of his truck. The deputy said he appeared to be intoxicated. When the deputy questioned Garcia-Vasquez, he said that he was planning to kill someone.

Garcia-Vasquez acknowledged he had a weapon in his truck. The deputy searched and found a loaded and cocked .22-caliber revolver on the console.

Garcia-Vasquez was arrested on the spot and taken to jail. According to the Globe-News, he was taken to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement where he was fingerprinted and identified as a Mexican national.

Records also showed that Garcia-Vasquez had been removed from the U.S. four times. The most recent removal was in 2008.

He faces charges of illegal alien in possession of a firearm.

Feds: Armed immigrant threatened McLean family

    Posted: April 24, 2015 - 4:41pm

    By Jim McBride

Federal authorities on Friday charged an undocumented Mexican immigrant with weapons possession after he was arrested Tuesday in McLean with a loaded, cocked revolver.

Omar Garcia-Vasquez, 44, was charged Friday in Amarillo’s U.S. District Court with illegal alien in possession of a firearm.

Shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday, a Gray County sheriff’s deputy responded to a “man with a gun” call in McLean after a resident called and said a neighbor threatened his family, according to a federal criminal complaint.

The deputy drove to the 600 block of South Main Street and found a Hispanic man getting out of a pickup. The caller pointed out the truck to the deputy and said the person in the truck made the threat. The deputy approached the man in the pickup, later identified as Garcia-Vasquez, and saw he appeared to be intoxicated, according to a federal agent’s affidavit.

The deputy asked the man what the issue was and Garcia-Vazquez, who had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath, said he was going to kill a person, according to the affidavit. The officer then asked where the weapon was and the man indicated it was in the pickup. The deputy spotted a cocked, .22-
caliber revolver on the pickup’s console, retrieved it and arrested Garcia-Vasquez on a charge of unlawfully carrying a weapon.

Two days later, Garcia-Vasquez was taken to the Immigrant and Customs Enforcement Office in Amarillo, where his fingerprints were entered into a federal database. Based on records checks, officers confirmed that Garcia-Vazquez was a Mexican citizen in the United States illegally. Further checks revealed that Garcia-Vazquez had been removed from the United States four times, most recently in 2008, and had not obtained permission to return to the United States.

Garcia-Vasquez remains in the Randall County jail under an immigrant hold, pending further court hearings in the case.

No mention of him actually being charged with felony return after a previous deporation.

Or conspiracy to commit or threatening capital murder. "possession of a firearm" That's laughable. That's what a citizen gets for not registering a gun or the citizen with a registered permitted gun carrying it for his own safety for not registering his gun in every state he might travel to or through.

Without secure borders these.aliens play games with our government. One is "ring 'round the Rosie," and then "catch me if you can."

The government is attempting to figure out how they can deport him again. If the game continues, Homeland Security offers .secure jobs
