Border Patrol arrest undocumented man after he was caught videotaping a woman in restroom

SAN ANTONIO, TX- A Honduran National, arrested by the San Angelo Police in February, was recently turned over U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the San Angelo Station.

According to release, on February 14,2015 San Angelo Police Department arrested Jose Santos Argueta, an undocumented inmigrant from Honduras, after receiving a call from the local Walmart of a male subject illegally videotaping a woman in the stall of a women’s restroom.

On October 14, 2015, Argueta was convicted of improper photography or visual recording and was subsequently given a 270-day sentence.

The San Angelo Police Department turned Argueta over to San Angelo Border Patrol agents on November 11, 2015.

Immigration records show that on April 29, 2009, Argueta had been previously deported from the United States

Jose Santos Argueta will have his previous order of removal reinstated and he will be turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
