Illegal alien receives 10-year sentence for meth distribution



A man described by federal prosecutors as an illegal alien has received a ten-year prison sentence for conspiring to distribute methamphetamine.

Javier Garcia-Salcido, 37, of Mexico pleaded guilty to the federal charge this week and was given the sentence by U.S. District Judge Larry McKinney. According to the U.S. attorney’s office, Garcia-Salcido was one of three people in a car that was carrying methamphetamine from Lafayette to Indianapolis on June 8, 2005. An investigation by several local and federal police agencies led to his arrest.

Since Garcia-Salcido is an illegal alien, he will be deported once his ten-year sentence has been served, the U.S. attorney said

How nice to know that the mexican drug cartels are now operating in my state. More hard working people that have come to Indiana to work.

The mexican drug cartels are embedded in this country. They are responsible for a lot of the CA forest being destroyed by planting marijuana plants. Saw an article in our newspaper about this a couple weeks ago, showed the numerous places in the state where such farms have been found. And those are the ones found. The cartels use to smuggle their goods across but evidently that is harder so now they just operate out of our own country.
Oh, that's right, many believe this is their country and we are the invaders.
