WHEELING, W.Va. -- As thousands protest congressional legislation aimed at cracking down on illegal immigration, the issue hit close to home this weekend as several undocumented immigrants were arrested in Wheeling.

Police arrested the following Mexican nationals on Interstate 70 Sunday morning: Camilio Apale, 20; Jaime Garcia, 21; Federico Mendez, 24; Isidro Calixco-Mendez, 27; Juan Manuel Mendez Mayahua, 20; and Tomas Tepole, 31.

Ohio County Sheriff's Deputies said at about 9:45 a.m., a Ford Explorer was stopped for speeding near the Washington Avenue exit.

Deputies said during that traffic stop, they realized the driver could not speak English. Police determined that all six people in the vehicle were undocumented immigrants traveling from Mexico to Pennsylvania to work.

All six were arrested and are being held at the Northern Regional Jail.

The case has been turned over to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Group.

Notice that ICE is getting involved when there has been a stop BECAUSE OF A LAW VIOLATION. I think we could get them involved more if we would CALL and report - any workplaces with a number of illegals - ar any illegls in violation of a law.

I think they are fighting the La Raza/ACLU Communist attempt to hastle ANY agency that attempts to enforce the law by asking Latinos for their ID's. It's that old "racial profiling" nonsense being perpetrated upon us by our THOUGHT CONTROL enemies. The reason why security at the airport will grill and strip search an old white grandma - but can't bother an Arab-looking person with a big old sheik head-covering.
