An illegal immigrant will be deported after admitting to raping a 15-year-old girl during a New Year’s Eve party.

Leonel Jardines Martell, 23, pleaded guilty to statutory rape after performing a sex act on a minor during a party in 2014, the Gaston Gazette reported.

At the time of the crime, Martell was celebrating his birthday when the victim arrived with a friend. The victim was younger than most at the party, where alcohol and marijuana were present.

After being separating from her friend, the victim was later found bleeding and shaken, eventually telling authorities that she had been raped by Martell. The illegal immigrant told police that the sex act was consensual.

Since pleading guilty to the sex crime, Martell will be deported by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after serving 10 months behind bars, which he told the court would be a positive change in his life.

“I guess it’ll be like a fresh start,” Martell said.

Martell has lived in North Carolina for 19 years and graduated from North Gaston High School.

Put him in a Federal Tent City on Federal Land along with ALL illegals and Visa Overstays. No amenities.

Serve time and then immediate deportation.

I'm going to assume the girl was a virgin since she was found bleeding. How in the world can any judge justify a 10 months sentence for the rape of a minor? Even if this was statutory rape, it still doesn't make a lick of sense! It has been well established that criminal illegals normally get off easier than citizens, but 10 months for the rape of a minor is carrying things to the extreme! I hope the judge didn't use the future deportation in his reasoning because deportation is not a punishment.
