Illegal Immigrant Indicted for Tax, Voter Fraud (updated)
by BREITBART TEXAS
30 Mar 2017
St. Louis, MO
An illegal immigrant was indicted by a federal grand jury for his alleged role in a fraudulent multi-million dollar tax refund scheme, voter fraud, illegal re-entry, and possessing a firearm.
Kevin Kunlay Williams aka “Kunlay Sodipo”, a Nigerian citizen, was indicted on March 29 in Missouri for “mail fraud, aggravated identity theft, voter fraud, illegal reentry and being a felon in possession of a firearm,” according to a statement from the Department of Justice.
Williams was allegedly involved in what was described as “a sophisticated stolen identity refund fraud scheme,” where he and others allegedly stole identification documents belonging to public school employees. The stolen IDs were then used to electronically file more than 2,000 fraudulent income tax returns with the goal of obtaining over $12 million in refunds.
Williams is suspected to have entered the United States from Nigeria under the name “Kunlay Sodipo”, before being deported in 1995. He then illegally re-entered the United States in 1999 using “Williams” as his last name.
Williams was also charged with felon in possession of a firearm after he was allegedly caught with a gun on the day of his arrest in February.
The indictment also alleges that Williams falsely claimed he was a U.S. citizen when he registered to vote in federal, state and local elections in 2012. Williams is alleged to have voted in the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections.
Breitbart Texas previously reported on similar voter fraud cases pursued in state and federal courts where immigrants both legally and illegally present lied about their citizenship status for voter registration purposes. Breitbart reporting at the time also indicated where the Public Interest Legal Foundation uncovered more than 1,000 voters to be non-U.S. citizens in Virginia alone.
According to the Department of Justice, if convicted, “Williams faces a statutory maximum sentence of 20 years in prison for each count of mail fraud, a mandatory minimum sentence of two years in prison for the aggravated identity theft, a statutory maximum sentence of 10 years in prison for the illegal reentry, a statutory maximum sentence of five years in prison for each of the voter fraud counts, and a statutory maximum sentence of 10 years in prison for the felon in possession of a firearm.”

You, this happens all too often.
No one is watching paying attention in this country.
You can't tell me someone should have caught this before it grew.

Previously Deported Nigerian Pleads Guilty To Ripping Off The US For $12 Million
Posted By Eric Lieberman On 12:03 PM 07/15/2017
A Nigerian citizen living in St. Louis pled guilty Thursday to a number of crimes, all of which were committed after he was deported several years ago.
Kevin Kunlay Williams, known as Kunlay Sodipo when originally entering the U.S., illegally returned to the country in 1999 after being expelled roughly four years prior.
Upon return, Williams and other perpetrators stole public school employees’ official IDs from an outside company, according to the Department of Justice press release. They then used the credentials to unlawfully file more than 2,000 federal income tax returns, amounting to more than $12 million in prospective refunds. Williams purloined a number of official tax-related banking numbers used for refunds, even printing and forging blank checks.
He also successfully registered to vote in all elections — local, state, and federal — by fraudulently claiming that he was a U.S. citizen. He ultimately voted in both the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections.
Williams, 56, pled guilty to the specific charges of mail fraud, voter fraud, aggravated identity theft and illegally re-entering the county after having been removed. Mail fraud carries a maximum sentence of 20 years, while aggravated identity theft has a required minimum sentence of two years. He also could face five years in prison for each voter fraud count, and 10 years in prison for illegal reentry. If the judge orders him to serve at least some of the sentences consecutively, Williams could easily be in jail for the rest of his life, although concurrent judgements are more likely.
His sentencing before a federal court is scheduled for Oct. 13.
