BAKERSFIELD - Investigators said an illegal immigrant was the victim in a McFarland homicide this weekend.
Sheriff's detectives discovered the body Sunday night in the 200 block of San Lucas Street.

Investigators said the man was shot to death.

The man's body was found in a wood shed near a duplex.

Officials said they are talking to witnesses to figure just what occurred.

Investigators have not released the name of the victim or any potential suspects.
