This is exactly what we need in Erie County, worded the same way not written with the county clerks name all over it like they did at yesterdays Erie County legislature meeting.

Barry Weinstein was exactly right in stopping this vote, something that is rarely successful because there are only three Republicans in a 15 member legislature. When legislation is submitted it must be written in general terms mentioning “County Clerkâ€

I saw two New York state assembly women on Lou Dobbs last night. They took surveys months ago with approx 22 questions. One was should illegal aliens be allowed to have drivers licenses. They said that 90% of their constituents were against it. They were getting angry calls, emails, letters and visits to their office with people pounding their fists on their office desks.

Move over Spitzer. Grey Davis needs company. Recall the traitor.

WAY TO GO!!!! These folks have the courage to stand up to a fool and traitor for a Governor, not cave in to ethnocentric demands, and not be afraid of labels such as "racist" and "xenophobic", in order to do what is right!!

They truly deserve to be commended, supported, and thanked !!!

This is national security. I can't believe that a New York Governor, after 911 would do this. The terrorists had legal drivers licenses. This way they didn't have to use passports to gain entrance on the planes. I think the 911 Commission is wondering what did you do all that for. These idiots don't care.
