Six illegal immigrants from Mexico were detained Thursday by Border Patrol agents after they were found in a house on Yandell across from Concordia Cemetery.

The immigrants were discovered around 5 p.m. by El Paso Electric Company workers who went to shut off electricity at the home. Border Patrol along with El Paso Sheriff's deputies were called a short time after and detained five males and one female.

THe immigrants were processed but there is no word how they got there. Border Patrol officials also believe the house where the immigrants were found was abandoned.

    Too funny jimpasz

    how about--Electricfying

Seriously, I applaud the El Paso Electric Company workers who went to shut off electricity and did the right thing. This opens new doors for detection--U.S. postal service mail carriers, gas and electric companies, city water utilities, etc.

Wonder if the pro-illegal immigrant supporters in El Paso will show their support for the five illegals by having their electrical power disconnected.
