"A Kansas court of appeals has ruled that it's illegal for an illegal alien to enter the country, but not illegal for an illegal alien to be in the country if the illegal alien can illegally make it past the Border Patrol without getting caught." Ok, so it's illegal for me to break into the Mint, but once I do I can help myself and it's ok?

And, even if I'm legal once I get in, does that mean that I'm forgiven (given amnesty) for breaking in, even though it was a crime back when I did it?
