Thread: Illegal immigration falls as economy sags

So far my complex has not emptied out yet, so I am not taking this as absolute truth, but it may be in a trickle.

We need a surge of illegals leaving this nation.

I had this funny thought about this article and all the craziness we have seen in this nation in this last year.

If I were a conspiracy theorist, I would say that illegal immigration was allowed in order to replace the less compliant and independent minded American citizen, I would say this financial crisis was an intentional step taken after they could not make us accept amnesty. Then I would have to say that they lied to us in order to tax us heavily, so in turn, we might want the illegals here to share that tax burden. Last, I would say that reports of illegals going home, leaving us to burden this mess alone, might make us want to keep them after all.

Then, in the end, the citizen would be grateful and hopeful politicians/elites, could try to lull us back into our slumber and get all the things they had initially set out to do in the first place.....IF I were a conspiracy theorist.

I was thinking about this as a crew of five illegal aliens were inside of our small little duplex, fixing all sorts of things the city ordered the landlord to have done. I sat in the garage, at my large antique oak desk (such a comforting piece of furniture), listening to these guys chatter on in Spanish, and wondering where the heck the actual contractors and electrician was?

I came to this strange, but seemingly realistic thought as I read this article simultaneously while these men rattled around in my kitchen and hallway...if they are really leaving, then where are the American handymen and contractors?

Dang it!!!! I should have been playing some rock music (you know, some Scorpions, Foreigner, Def Leppard...) for them......... I know how much they love it, how inconsiderate of me!!!

Yes, I do think the invasions of illegals was, to dilute this country, also to help keep us broke by taking our jobs, forcing us to pay for them. They are already voting and they are going to give all of them the vote.

I'm thinking all the stories we have been hearing about all the illegals leaving, and I'm thinking we should be seeing lines at the border and we shoud be able to notice fewer illegals.

AE my neighbor actually played 80's music loudly to drown out their Spanish music. My neighbor is a DJ and used his equipment. I had the police radio on so I could warn him if the police were on their way. It worked well. Now the apartment complex next to my condo is mostly illegals with 6 to 8 people living in a 2 bedroom unit. They not only do they play their Spanish music loud but scream at each other instead of speaking in a normal tone of voice. They have also destroyed the fence between the 2 properties as there are a few drug dealers in my condo complex and they come over to buy. I have been doing surviellance on them with the undercover officers and when they do get arrested I will make sure they get deported.

How come IA's don't like 80's music...? Never heard of this.

SicNTiredInSoCal, not so sure why they do not like American rock, other than it is just not "their" musica!

I serenade them, when they are inconsiderately playing their music at concert levels, with Scorpions, Def Leppard, etc.... I love it anyways and they get so mad they will peel out of the complex.

I told my son (who is 15) that ONE time, before I pulled into the complex, I was going to find one of their radio stations, and roll down the windows and start playing their station really loud. Could you imagine the looks of total confusion I would get???LOL...LOL

AE the Russians where I live don't like them blaring their music loud so they play theirs loudly around them. The best one has to be my daughter's solution. She found a song sung in Spanish and German where they make fun of some of the women and she has played loudly. You should see the look on their faces when they hear it. I think the band is called Riemschtein or something close to it.
What annoys me the most is when they speak Spanish in public and then give others who speak another foreign language dirty looks, speak bad of them in Spanish or tell them they are rude. We were at the Outback Steak House and had 4 males behind us screaming in Spanish so we began speaking Russian. They listened to us and then called us a bunch of dumb ignorant Russians in Spanish. My daughter was going to tell them off in Spanish and I told her not to.
