In certain industry, possibly. However, I think 1/50 (citizen to illegal) is a little high. However, there are industries where 1/3 to 1/8 is a common level. 3/1 "might" be the level on some "public face" businesses (guest services like a hotel), but for certain sectors, even of these "guest services" type businesses, there are still huge numbrers of illegals. Look at cleaning services (hotel, or corp office cleaning), It is like 90% illegals, or more. Even if the people "on display" at the hotel are not illegal, who works behind the scenes, almost always is.

It is almost impossible to bid against companies with 90% illegals, when cleaning office buildings (or remodeling, like laying carpet or building cubes in the office buildings). Companies trying to work legit, will almost ALWAYS lose to scum companies filled with illegals, due to the main (about only) overhead being saleries.

IT IS TIME TO EXPOSE these companies. I have turned in the cleaning staff at my office complex 5 times. FINALLY, something happened, as we now have a different crew. If my company hires a bunch of illegals again, to vaccuum and pick up trash, then I will do it again. My company hates me, but right now, no one else wants to do my job (even though it is super easy to me )
