Let's see. Illegal immigrants protest by setting cars on fire and destroying the community because they are angry that some people don't like illegals taking jobs from citizens (and took action). Well that should warm the heart of those whose property was destroyed.

    Illegal immigrants in europe

Those in Europe are getting a dose of what is to come here in the states I am afraid. Thing is ALL those nations peoples are disarmed unlike the USA.
I believe those in government around the world are in agreement to dilute the peoples of their nation with "other peoples" that do not speak their language,or embrace their nations customs and beliefs.
By doing this in all the developed nations of the world it causes disharmony in all the developed nations providing additional laws to "protect" but are not designed to protect but take freedom.
If "We the People" of these United States do not stand up to let our voices be heard in a big way very soon it will be too late because one day soon the majority in this nation will be those who do not have an American dream, could care less about this nation or our customs, and are willing a fight to take what they want from the rest of us to get all they can.
I ask all to pray for this nation and those elected to office that GOD will protect our nation from ALL harm and guide those elected to vote laws only that adhere to the US and state constitutions.
If those in office are sold out to the devil and his crowd then pray GOD will expose them into the light of day that we can know who are enemies of our GOD and nation.
May GOD Bless and Keep His children by His Grace through His Beloved Son Christ Jesus!

There is no way---the government can force this on America unless they take guns away. It is all part of the globalist dream!!!!

    Reaction Rather Than Sensible Action

Italy is now experiencing what I fear we will experience sooner or later. The very real fact is, these riots ARE a result of years of lax immigration policies & lax enforcement of immigration laws in Italy. They coddled according to the liberal point of view & now, when locals realize their jobs are gone & their communities quality of life is disintegrating before their very eyes, someone inappropriately reacts. Shooting at the aliens, with an air rifle or a real rifle, is not going to solve the problem but it sure will bring it out in the open where government officials will be forced to finally deal logically w/ the issue & the problems aliens have created in Italy, simply by their presence.
I suspect these types of confrontations are coming to America as our quality of life, our economic well being, our crime rates, & so much more, go down the toilet. Eventually, citizens freak out that the problem goes on & on & on, and politicians do nothing to responsibly resolve the issue. Far too often, liberal politicians solve the problem by insisting we coddle aliens. They want us to pay for their health care, their day care, their education, their crime costs, etc. And as we suffer more & more, some reach a boiling point & react. They should not, but, only an idiot would act as though such reactions were not to be expected after moron politicians gave away everything under the guise of 'do-gooderism.'
I tire of liberals attacking anyone who questions the logic of lax immigration laws. Based on how poorly written & enforced our current immigration laws are, it sure looks like they were initially designed to deal with lawful entrants, not unlawful entrants. Then it looks like illegal entry was added to all those laws, until it got out of control. Then it looks like lawmakers added all sorts of convoluted & disjointed laws, that were & are impossible to enforce.
    Our biggest problem is our immigration laws & policies are taken totally out of context. Then liberals attack enforcement as mean spirited, when in fact its simply self preservation. (These folks also remind me of those who think we should not use a gun in our own home to stop an intruder. They seem to think we should retreat out of our home until the police finally arrive & not stop the intruder from stealing us blind &/or harming anyone still in the house.) {Not in my house!!!!}
If we in America who want our laws obeyed (and in Italy too for that matter), are so bad, so mean spirited, so xenophobic..... then why do these folks keep coming here? If as liberals say America is a terrible place & none of our history is good, but laden w/ despicable actions even by those most of us always thought were leaders, founders, & examples for us & our children to follow..... then why are they coming here? Why would they come to this racist place? Why would they come to a place where we terrible Americans will discriminate against them when it comes to obtaining a job? Obviously, our illegal aliens friends think there's something 'in it' for them. They think we will pay the bills. Just as one lady when interviewed was happy Obama was president & felt now he would send "Obama" money to her, so do those seeking a free ride from foreign countries who enter illegally. (The Obama money lady was asked where the Obama money comes from & her response was, from his account!)
Why when illegal aliens get here, do they want us to make America like the failed gwat socialist state they escaped from? Many never knew how to live in a democracy or free market economy. Their governments always ran the show. They had, no jobs, rampant inflation, crime, drugs, & more, that was so out of control there were open battles on their streets. We seem to be coming perilously close to what they have. The results are..... these folks are running out of those failed gwat nations in droves. So why do they think we should be more like them? Why would we want to be???
If we in America are lucky, our politicians may follow the lead of some European nations on this issue & establish serious immigration laws that restrict entry, seriously limit legal entries, and deal forcefully with any who violate our immigration laws, to the extent that if one breaks our immigration laws, they are deported, permanently!
We should all take notes as to how Italy & France & other nations in Europe respond to their previous lax immigration laws. Islamic terrorists are now seen as real threats in many European nations & I suspect because of that , they will be enacting some very restrictive immigration laws as a result.

Protesters in southern Italy deny racism
    06:09 AEST Tue Jan 12

At least 2,000 people marched in the southern Italian town of Rosarno where migrant African farm workers came under attack to reject the label "racist", Italian media reported.

"Abandoned by the state, criminalised by the mass media, 20 years of co-habitation are not racism," the lead banner read.

The region "has done nothing to resolve the problem of the heavy presence of immigrants in Rosarno and the serious hygienic conditions in which they are forced to live," an organiser told the ANSA news agency.

Organisers said 5,000 residents of the town of some 15,000 turned out for the peaceful protest, while police put the figure at 2,000.

Calm was generally restored at the weekend after two days of unrest that prompted more than 1,000 Africans to flee the Calabrian town after clashes left 67 people injured -- 31 of them migrants, 19 police officers and 17 locals.

A Rosarno police officer, speaking on condition of anonymity and referring to the possible involvement of the region's 'Ndrangheta network, one of Italy's most brutal organised crime groups, told AFP that "several investigations are under way."

Also Monday, the Vatican newspaper denounced "racism" behind the violence.

"More than sickening, the episodes of racism... (reveal) mute and savage hatred towards another skin colour that we thought we had overcome," the Osservatore Romano said under the headline "Italians and Racism".

"For once, the press is not exaggerating... We have never excelled in our sense of openness, we Italians, from the north to the south," lamented the writer.

Pope Benedict XVI earlier spoke out against the violence, saying Sunday, "We have to go to the heart of the problem, of the significance of the human being.

"An immigrant is a human being, different in where they came from, in their culture and tradition, but a person to respect who has rights and responsibilities."

"Violence must never be a means to solve difficulties," the pope said.

Southern Italian town world's 'only white town' after ethnic cleansing

Authorities remove all remaining immigrants out of Rosarno for own protection after locals unleash bloody ethnic cleansing

John Hooper in Rome The Guardian, Monday 11 January 2010

Rosarno in southern Italy had, by last night, been turned into what one politician termed the world's only entirely white town after a bloody ethnic cleansing that produced scenes reminiscent of the old American deep south.

As bulldozers got to work to obliterate shacks belonging to the itinerant crop-pickers who had fled, the last of more than 1,000 such workers were being removed from the area for their own protection.

After two days and nights of violence that began with the apparently motiveless shooting of two African workers, the number of injured stood at 53, comprising 18 police, 14 local people and 21 immigrants, eight of whom were in hospital.

Some of the crop-pickers had been shot; others had been beaten with metal bars or wooden clubs as local people took indiscriminate vengeance after a riot of Thursday in which more than 100 Africans caused extensive damage in the town to protest at the shootings.

Those who fled included several hundred people who had agreed to be taken to government-run centres after reportedly being given assurances they would not be deported if found to be illegally in Italy.

But Silvio Berlusconi's interior minister, Roberto Maroni, said yesterday that they would, in fact, be expelled. "The law is implemented and nothing else can be done," he told a television interviewer.

A centre for asylum seekers near Bari took 324 immigrants, mostly Ghanaians. The city's prefect said that more than half of those whose cases had been examined had temporary residence permits. The others were destined for internment at a so-called centre for identification and expulsion.

In his traditional Sunday sermon to the crowd in St Peter's square yesterday, the pope said: "Immigrants are human beings, different in culture and traditions, but nevertheless to be respected. Violence ought never to be the way for anyone to resolve the difficulties."

Addressing his parishioners in Rosarno, the local priest, Father Pino Varra, said the immigrants had erred. "But that does not give us the right to beat them, chase them, kill them or drive them out."

Maroni criticised local authorities for turning a blind eye to the widespread, irregular use of immigrant labour, adding that they had created communities of foreigners that were "bombs primed to go off".

A junior minister in the previous, centre-left government, Luigi Manconi, commented ironically that Rosarno was now "the only wholly white town in the world. Not even South African apartheid obtained such a result." And he asked: "Who now will pick the oranges?"

But, perhaps explaining the crop-pickers' frustration and the eagerness of some locals to get rid of their immigrant workforce, the Calabrian citrus industry has been in crisis due to a fall in prices, according to Antonio Lupini, vice-president of the local farmers association. He told the daily Corriere della Sera that 800m kilograms of citrus fruit were rotting on the trees.
