There have long been huge numbers of poor unemployed Blacks throughout the Deep South.
The Katrina evacuees in Baton Rouge need jobs to reconstruct their lives. Is an hour fifteen minute commute really such an obstacle that contractors need stab legal workers in the back.
What these vultures like David Oro needs is not more illegal immigrant workers it is a long stretch in jail.
The Mayors Office on Immigrant and Refugee Affairs MOIRA under Benito Juarez oversees day labor centers in Houston, there are 30 legally sanctioned sites.
Is MOIRA still taking a discriminatory attitude against Blacks like the Katrina evacuees and a don't ask don't tell attitude towards Mexican immigrants?
Call Mayor Nagin's Office and demand institution of DHS Basic Pilot. (504) 565-6400I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets.
