Man linked in border agent's killing had been deported twice
Man arrested in border agent's killing charged with being in U.S. illegally

SAN DIEGO – A man arrested in San Jose after the fatal shooting of a U.S. Border Patrol agent has been charged with being in the country illegally after a previous deportation, authorities said Monday.
Salvador Picaso-Ambriz, 39, of Mexico, was arrested at O'Connor Hospital on Friday at the request of federal authorities, San Jose police Sgt. Ronnie Lopez said.
He appeared in federal court in San Jose on Monday morning, officials said, and is being held in federal custody without bail.
According to court documents, Picaso-Ambriz was deported on Oct. 10, 2003, from Brownsville, Texas, and was again removed from the United States from San Ysidro on July 20, 2009.
FBI spokesman Darrell Foxworth said he was not confirming that Picaso-Ambriz's arrest was connected to the death of 30-year-old Border Patrol Agent Robert Rosas.
No one has been arrested or charged with the agent's death, Foxworth said.
Mexican federal law enforcement authorities on Friday announced the arrest of Ernesto Parra Valenzuela, 36, whom they identified as the gunman.
He was taken into custody by Tecate municipal police not far from where the shooting took place, and he had a 9 mm pistol in his possession.
Mexican authorities also arrested four other men suspected of human smuggling, along with 21 migrants, said Commissioner Elias Alvarez Hernandez, head of federal police forces in Baja California.
One of those men, a member of a smuggling operation whose members are wanted by U.S. authorities in connection with two recent homicides and a rape, pointed to Valenzuela as the shooter.
The FBI has not confirmed that the four have connections to Rosas' death, although it has been widely reported by media outlets.

Where's Schwarzenegger? Boxer? Feinstein? The National Guard?
That border needs to be shut completely down while this case is being investigated. If more heinous criminals want to cross that border LEGALLY or ILLEGALLY they should be forced to do it elsewhere and not through California for the next month or so....this would be the scenario if we had leadership that actually gave a damn!!!!
This incident should be a call to shut down that border and GUARD the lives of OUR BORDER PATROL AGENTS!.

This is the human filth that is flowing across that border at will. How many more police officers, American citizens, INNOCENT AMERICANS have to be murdered, raped, or victimized at the hands of illegal invaders before the cowards that run this country do something!!!
I don't give a shit about mexico's feelings anymore. Got it? Put the Marines on that border!Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Law abiding Mexican citizens don't deal with drug traffickers or human traffickers putting their lives and the lives of those they love into the hands of those kind of people. People who are already involved with that kind of trash on the Mexican side of the border are usually the ones that will trust these sorry excuses for human beings to get them here. In other words, WE ARE allowing the trash of Mexico, the criminals they don't want in their country to come here and set up shop!
That's why there has been an up tick in gangs and violent crimes in this country over the past ten years. We're taking in Mexico's CRIMINAL CLASS! Why doesn't anyone see this? Do you think for one second that Mexico would allow the USA to send all of OUR home grown criminals to Mexico to care for, incarcerate and deal with?
Let's tell all the criminals that are being let out of prison early because California is bankrupt, to go to Mexico when they get out. Let's give them a comic book manual on how to sidestep immigration laws in Mexico, maps, GPS devices, cell phones and cash to get there. We'll promise never to go there to hunt them down if they will just go there quietly and leave the USA for good.
That's basically what Mexico has done with their criminals, encouraging them to come here illegally, helping them cross the border illegally and then placing Mexican consolates all over the USA to aid and abet those criminals once they get here. When are Americans going to get enough of this crap being fed to us by the government of Mexico and our own government and put a stop to the invasion and occupation of the USA by Mexico, once and for all!?!?!?.

Man arrested after agent death appears in court
The Associated Press
10:02 p.m. July 27, 2009
SAN DIEGO — A man arrested in San Jose after the fatal shooting of a Border Patrol agent has been charged with being in the country illegally after a previous deportation.
San Jose police say 39-year-old Salvador Picaso-Ambriz was arrested Friday and appeared in federal court Monday.
FBI officials would not confirm that his arrest was related to the killing of Agent Robert Rosas in a remote area near San Diego last Thursday.
According to court documents obtained by the San Diego Union-Tribune, Picaso-Ambriz was deported from Brownsville, Texas in October 2003, and again July 20 from San Ysidro.
Mexican federal police say the suspected triggerman, Ernesto Parra Valenzuela, will be held for 40 days while prosecutors seek charges.
Mexican police say a suspected smuggler, who was also in custody, identified Parra Valenzuela as the gunman.

Use the Correct Title of Artilces
Corrected title from Man arrested in border agent's killing charged with being in U.S. illegally to the correct title published and given to the story by the author Man possibly linked in border agent's killing had been deported
I did not add this to the homepage because I spent my time correcting the title, instead of the time it takes to post it on the homepage.
Changing the titles of the articles causes others to post duplicate articles, since users following the guidlines for preventing duplicate posts by searching for the correct title of the artilce in the News Section and with the search feature.
