Immigration Redux: This Time It’s the Farm Bill;
AgJOBS Backers Risk Congressional Backlash
By Geof Koss, CongressNow Staff
Thwarted in their past efforts to address a critical labor shortage, the agricultural lobby and farm workers are pressing their Congressional allies to bring up a controversial guest-worker program as the Senate kicks off farm bill discussions this week.
But in doing so, they concede they risk injecting the poison pill of immigration into the popular agriculture bill, which reauthorizes federal programs affecting farms in virtually every state.
And within the immigration issue lies an even more emotionally laden subset: “Some will try to tag it as amnesty,â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Who are these idiots trying to kid? We have (a guess) at least 20-30 million illegals, and only 2% of them are in the AG business anyway!
And they are trying to tell us we have a shortage?
SHEESH!!!!
These bastards will not be happy until they get some form of their precious amnesty, whether it be through the DREAM Act, Ag act, they are going to try and push this no matter what.
This really does show the desperate tactics the Dems are using to get their precious illegal voting block.
We cannot let up for a minute!
We have had some awesome victories, but our battle is far from over!
This is one more bill that needs to join the crap legislation cemetary and be buried right next to S. 2611, S. 1639, DREAM Act...the list goes on and on!
Finally, a huge thank you to Senator Sessions for once again standing his ground and defending AMERICANS and not illegals."Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting the same results is the definition of insanity. " Albert Einstein.

I agree Sippy. I'm going to call Sen. Sessions and thank him for his stance and leadership against the AgJobs amnesty, as well as Sen. Chambliss.
I also think we should start calling, faxing other senators who could go either way. It's not too early to at least start making some calls. If anyone has ideas and names, please post.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

ALIPAC'ers:
This is the next huge amnesty fight. The amnesty in this amendment would be even larger than the DREAM Act. We need to start our calls, faxes and e-mails now so we are already out of the gate on this one. We cannot wait until a few days before this travesty gets voted on. Come on...let's all start at least making some initial contact with Senator's on this and express our outrage!Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I agree zeezil. We should start making some initial contact calls to senators and emails to our allies in talk radio to lay the groundwork, and ramp it up when needed. We know the special interests have been lobbying for the AgJobs amnesty for awhile, and we're starting to see more articles in the MSM from business interests extolling the virtues of illegal immigration, spouting their usual "it's not amnesty" evasions, and how border enforcement is supposedly not good for the GOP, example:

As a start, I called Sen. Sessions and Chambliss's offices this morning and thanked them for publicly opposing the amnesty in AgJobs prosposal. I believe Sen. Hutchison has also announced that she also opposes the amnesty in AgJobs.
