Why was Elvira's son not sent with her? That way it would keep from breaking up the "family." Isn't that what we always hear from the sympathy groups? It will break up the family. Send the family back to Mexico with them!

    Deportation long over due!

Elviria Arellano an illegal immigrant who was deported legally in 1997 sneaks back into this country again in 2000. Then starts a family; thus your anchor kid thinking this will insure her stay. Yes the laws need to reflect the times; since this loophole is being used too often as an excuse to stay.

The new law should state that both parents of a child born in America have to be legal citizens in order for that child to be a legal American. If you look it up in the constitution the original intent was not to be exploited as it is happening now; and should be cleared up. In fact these anchor kids may not actually be citizens at all. Something the supreme court should decide or clear up. The original intention was that for slaves could own property etc and be free. They changed it then for that purpose. It now needs to be revisited because of the unclear language and interpretation. As it stands now its interpretation may be wrong.

Now if Ms. Elvira Arellano so loved her son and wanted to keep her family together she had a choice to make. She chose to leave him behind; and separate herself from him to make a political point. Well the only point she made is that she thinks laws should accommodate illegal immigrants who illegally enter here. Sorry you broke the law was deported ignored it and illegally entered again. Then you have a kid knowing that you are subject to deportation. What parent who loves their child so much births a child in another country knowing that they may be deported. She bought this on herself with her own selfish choices.

Now hearing that an illegal immigrant was working at the airport. What a joke homeland security has become; using a fake SSN. Well at least they finally did the right thing and deported her like they should have done long ago and needs to be done to every illegally known immigrant here. Want to be an American citizen then get in a real line in your home country and apply like everyone else. No special privileges to those that sneak in here illegally or those that hire them for cheap labor. Yes a message should be sent; secure the border and deport illegals found period. Then we can be sure no more will keep coming.

Speak of giving them a pass or amnesty you might as well hold up a welcome sign to the masses who will flood here. The 12-20 million or more here will in ten years be 40-80 million. Sorry I'm not paying for illegal immigrants and all the social programs they sign up for. We pay enough taxes and it should be only for legal Americans. Never mind lost scholarships for our American children to illegals.

As for the Rev. Coleman; give me a break; I'm Christian too and its unfair for a group of people to break our laws and expect the rest of us to pay their way. If you want to help them go to their country or give them your money from the church or does the church need it. Don't expect the rest of us to follow your ill guided path; remember "give onto Caesar what is Caesar's. Since the illegals don't pay taxes they are not entitled to our benefits at a cost to the rest of us of over 2.5 - 3 trillion in amnesty might as well send us all in the poor house. What then? Will you be handing us all money and paying our bills and taxes food? For a man of God your heart may be doing what it feels is right but its wrong and unfair to the rest; the pain it will cause as we all pay more taxes is that fair? As the cost of medical insurance rises as we pay for illegal immigrant left behind bills is that fair? Must we all suffer for a group who refuse to obey the laws it that fair? NO! it not fair and for a man of God you should rethink how it impacts the rest of the law abiding community! Besides the legal immigrants who apply and are denied. Yes its broken so lets fix it right. Secure the border and enforce the laws. Stop the illegal floods and stop the sanctuary makes me not want to go to church. The church should help the poor but not those that are taken advantage of our system and have been for decades. Yes our government dropped the ball again out of greed but not the people who foot the bills. We need not suffer because you feel the need to help an entire country. Help those in this country; many here need it. Look no further then your own backyard for those in need. More then you think.

...your right, that's what they say. But, Elvira chose herself to break up her own family because she refused to have her son go with her to Mexico. That way she could continue to blame the U.S. Family values only matter when there is no political agenda in the way to illegals. BTW, welcome to ALIPAC! You're going to like it here.
