HIDALGO COUNTY - There’s increased security along the Rio Grande, and it's not just Americans on guard. Mexican soldiers are also lining parts of the Rio Grande.

Armed with high-caliber weapons, a Texas Law Enforcement Agency is taking to the water. Game wardens are patrolling the river, boosting law enforcement efforts.

We went out with them this morning. We weren't alone on the border.

The strength of this patrol ripples through the water. An armed officer guards the state’s only fleet of water vessels. Out here, Texas game wardens are like the feds.

“We do have specific positions in border counties that are specifically funded for border wardens,â€

The mexican military is most likely making sure the illegals get to America without being harmed.

Or Obama told the mexican goverment that you have to show you are trying to keep the border secure or I wont be able to prove that we can leaglized all who live in the U.S..Its all for show and to con the americans.What a scam.

I believe these are more accurate. The mexican military has no interest in stopping mexicans from going into the US. Their interest lies in keeping the BP from taking illegal aliens entering the country into custody and making sure they aren't harmed along with making sure illegals from down south of Mexico don't enter their country.

I'm just hoping come 2012 we get a hardline conservative president. Then let the mexican army try and stop us. Gives us all the power we need to end this issue with the backing of all Americans

Game wardens are authorized to enforce all state and federal laws. No U.S. property is closed to them. This makes them the most powerful agency in the area.
