Hayworth: Bill Is Path To Amnesty

    December 16, 2005

Hayworth: House Immigration Bill Is Path To Amnesty, Not Enforcement

Announces he will vote against H.R. 4437

WASHINGTON- U.S. Rep. J.D. Hayworth, one of the most outspoken advocates for strict enforcement of laws to stop illegal immigration, will vote against legislation House leaders are rushing toward passage in the final hours before Congress adjourns for the year.

In announcing his opposition to the bill, H.R. 4437, Rep. Hayworth issued the following statement:

"This legislation is so vague, so timid, and so incremental that it undermines the Enforcement First policy America needs in order to turn back the massive invasion of our country by illegal aliens. Not only is this bill unenforceable; it will be unrecognizable when the Senate turns it into window dressing for a disastrous guest worker amnesty plan.

"I am concerned that the haphazard rush to push this patchwork bill through the House will set us on a path back to 1986 and a policy of amnesty first- enforcement never and unending illegal immigration. Only the aroused intervention of the American people can prevent that from happening now and that effort will have my full and unyielding support."

Hayworth--you lost. It passed your "House" on Friday.

We'll see how many Traitors we have in the Senate and we expect your undying support to convince the Senate to pass the bill without guest worker, amnesty, or legalization programs or tactics.

We want these illegal aliens deported on the earliest possible date.

We want illegal employers sent to jail on the earliest possible date.

We want security at the borders, fences, troops, citizens...whatever it takes to stop this flow dead in its tracks including the return of deportees.

Judy--I heard Hayworth speak on Lou Dobbs last week and HE is ON OUR SIDE. HIS plan was REALLY TOUGH. And, this agrees with the message I got from that other group to which I belong called the US Border Control. They are also VERY CONCERNED that this bill is weak and will undergo a real transformation in the Senate. HAYWORTH IS OUR ALLY!

I agree Bootsie. I've heard Hayworth speak on illegal immigration before, and he is against any form of Amnesty. I wonder how solid HR4437 really is? I hope their is no back door loophole.

Just the more I read today, the more I believe that, even though it WAS a victory of sorts, it was a shallow one. I think the Senate will dismantle it. I'm discouraged.

That is the reason, I have been hitting the Senators hard, even before it passed. I have sent a letter to Frist, First and the Dewine the Swine, and Voinovich. Telling that in every Poll, Americans, absolutely refuse to give amnesty. I even told them that if they went that way. I would personally walk door to door across the state of Ohio and get everyone to sign a petition for there Resignation.

Oh, sorry about that. I thought anyone who voted against this bill would not be on our side. He wants something more and that's good. Maybe he can push the Senators and keep up his position.

Nothing is going to help much if we don't get troops to the borders and stop this flow.

Bootsie...don't be discouraged. I don't think the Political Cure is coming until after we Impeach Bush and Cheney. We already have ample immigration legislation to solve all the problems and issues as soon as you have a President honoring his oath and enforcing those laws.

Until then, it really doesn't matter what the US Congress does with new legislation, does it? When there is no Executive Branch to enforce it? Bush isn't going to enforce it. He's not even going to sign it. Congress can over-ride his veto but do you think the Wackident is going to do something because Congress said to?

The only power Congress has over the Wackident is appropriations and impeachment.

We'll see what the United States Senate has to say about it, but I think we already know, don't we? CAFTA showed clearly where they stood on flooding the United States with foreign nationals.

WE need lots of strong calls going into the Senate.
