Waslin stastes: "said children are not responsible for the immigration statusof their parents". Exactly!! Immigration status of their parents has nothing to do with being "born American". Either you are the offpsring of American Citizens at the time of your birth now qualifying you to be "born American" whether you are born on US Soil or while on a vacation in Chile....you are America's legal posterity under our jurisdiction through your parents....or you aren't.

Otherwise you are the legal posterity of the country where your parents hold citizenship as it should be.

This foreign breeding ground on US Soil must end and it must end now.

Pass the Anchor Babies Law and put an end to this utter nonsense.

I don't think they'll need to repeal anything since it was never the intent of the 14th Amendment to give anyone other than children born to US citizens citizenship.

In a nutshell, it means this: The constitution of the United States does not grant citizenship at birth to just anyone who happens to be born within American borders. It is the allegiance (complete jurisdiction) of the child’s birth parents at the time of birth that determines the child’s citizenship--not geographical location. If the United States does not have complete jurisdiction, for example, to compel a child’s parents to Jury Duty–then the U.S. does not have the total, complete jurisdiction demanded by the Fourteenth Amendment to make their child a citizen of the United States by birth. How could it possibly be any other way?

The framers succeeded in their desire to remove all doubt as to what persons are or are not citizens of the United States. They also succeeded in making both their intent and construction clear for future generations of courts and government. Whether our government or courts will start to honor and uphold the supreme law of the land for which they are obligated to by oath, is another very disturbing matter.

Had_unuf--I don't even know why they think they need to repeal the 14th Amendment. Just pass a federal law stating no child born on US soil shall be given American Citizenship upon at birth unless the mother is a US Citizen at the time of conception. PERIOD.

Pass the Fair Tax, HR 25 which eliminates federal income tax. Why is this bill important to illegal immigration? Because it eliminates tax deductibility for corporate contributions to 501 C 3 organizations and organizations like Maldef, Mechma, Lulac, National Council of La Raza, El Pueblo, American Civil Liberties Union, National Lawyers Guild, Rockefeller Foundation, Pew Center, Southern Poverty Law Center and all the rest will no longer be able to collect contributions for CORPORATE GLOBALISTS based upon "it's deductible" which will dramatically reduce their legal ability to contribute to such organizations as "charity".

These are not "charitable" organizations working in the interest of Americans. These are are fake, phoney organizations, Wolves in Sheep's Clothing, calling US "racists", "nazis", all to end the sovereign territory of the United States and make being an American Citizen nothing more than a "ticket" to a check from the "gov't" and a job in a Drone Plant part of "competitiveness" in a "global economy" which means in a world controlled by one organization which means the end of national sovereignty world-wide.

All the international GLOBALIST organizations who see American Citizenship as something to dilute; a tool to convert America to nothing more than a piece of the Hemispheric Nation, the Free Trade Area of the Americas ruled by the World Trade Organization from "Alaska to Chile".

Demetri Papademetriou, president of the non-partisan Migration Policy Institute in Washington, D.C., said citizenship reforms stem from a lack of solutions to stop immigration from becoming an anything-goes procedure.

"I get frustrated by people who casually say, ‘Let’s just change it,’ like it’s yesterday’s sheets," he said. "These people tend to not know about history or law.

"I worry about the cohesion, the staying together of this country if we start distinguishing people on the basis of who were born here but (are) not part of this society," he said.

He worries about the COHESION???? The COHESION would be a COMMON LANGUAGE would just happens to be ENGLISH. This is a prime example of their double standard. You certainly have no HOPE of COHESION as long as "people who were not born here" DEMAND that we speak THEIR language rather than the reverse.

Dimitri is worried about "cohesion" and the "staying together of this country".

I on the otherhand are worried about "friction" and "sparks igniting" when Americans fedup with this nonsense shout ENUF ALREADY to the rootops of America from her "sea to shining sea".
