Would there be this much passion----???

[b][i]"Meanwhile, the issue of illegal immigration is inextricably linked to the question of racial bigotry. State Sen. Tim Lanane, D-Anderson puts it succinctly, “Would there be this much passion involved if these were English-speaking, white Canadians coming across the border?â€

America has made great strides forward in the arena of social justice since the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s. Laws that deny rights to specific groups of people based on who they are have been banished from most quarters of the country.
"Based on who they are?" We don't deny any rights in this country to anyone here legally. When they break our laws by coming here univited, use felonious documents, kill our citizens, steal our resources. You bet, they should get treated for exactly who they are. Criminals.

“There is something about this bill that makes me very uncomfortable,â€

Steve Dick is the assistant managing editor and very pro-illegal alien, pro-open borders, "everyone who doesn't stand for amnesty/open borders" is a racist. Give him a call.
