Iranian Businessman Charged With Illegal Exports

SAN FRANCISCO -- Federal authorities have charged an Iranian businessman with illegally exporting helicopter engines and cameras for combat airplanes from the United States to Iran.
The Justice Department says Hossein Ali Khoshnevisrad, 55, was arrested shortly after arriving at San Francisco International Airport on Saturday, He made an initial appearance in federal court here Monday.
Officials say the four felony charges were filed under seal in Washington last year and unsealed Monday.
The arrest was first reported by the Washington Post on its Web site Monday.

The term "Iranian businessman" doesn't make it clear how the man came to be here. Was the man an H1B worker, here on a tourist visa, B-1 visitor visa (a nonimmigrant visa for persons desiring to enter the United States temporarily for business), or what?
