The Truths We Dare Not Speak About Illegal Immigration
In the last 48 hours almost everything that can be said about illegal immigration has been said. But I am more interested in a few truths that are never quite spoken.
1) Why the Sense of Exemption? Why and how exactly do the supporters of illegal immigration justify massive disobedience of federal law? I suspect the answer is predicated in large part on the source of illegal immigration — that if it were a question of a half-million entering illegal Rwandans or Balkan peoples each year, the issue would have remained strictly a matter of legality.
I posed a hypothetical once to a Mexican consular official in a public debate, framing the request by inquiring whether he thought there would be anything wrong, say, with freighters coming ashore on the California coast, and unloading 1-2,000 Chinese nationals on average each day — few of whom would be legal, English-speaking, or with high-school diplomas.
He seemed shocked, outraged even — more so, when I added that Chinese-language facilities would be soon mandated within public services, and a sort of Chinese cultural appreciation movement would be embedded within the schools to help encourage and invigorate illegal Chinese immigrants in their own personal odysseys within California.
My own puzzlement lasted mere seconds, since the consul quickly cited Mexico’s historical affinity with, and indeed (emotional, linguistic, legal?) claims upon, the southwestern United States. Presto — here arose the unspoken assumption of the advocates of open borders (or at least of those who feel that illegal aliens should be exempt from federal immigration statutes): historical grievances have made enforcement of the law rather debatable, given that sovereignty, national borders, and the notion of a definable America altogether are “problematic.â€"A Nation of sheep will beget a government of Wolves" -Edward R. Murrow

Bottom line
This country is FUBAR (look it up)
I don't see it correcting itself either , I think we are way to far gone
We have to few people on our side , and those that are on our side
get slammed by us as being loony tunes
I've seen so many good people slagged on this site and others
We all hate illegal immigration but we couldn't even agree on one presidential candidate , even though several good ones ran , We split our vote so many different ways that the biggest idiot got the nom.
The other side is united , they have the Corporations, they have the churches , several hundred enabler and advo groups , they have our current president and administration , they have several cities and states , they have the govt of mexico, they have several police depts as well as many govt offices such as Homeland Security, ICE and many others. They have the whole msm machine , Aclu, Seiu, SPLC , liberal courts,
The education systems ,
What exactly do we have?
Alipac
Numbers USA
Fair
Judicial Watch
Fox news (sometimes)
tea parties (sometimes)
Other orgs that can't be mentioned here
So far this has been enough to fight their Juggernaut but for how much longer?

I think it is also a "sense of entitlement" that is felt. For example, notice most companies now offer things that come in English/Spanish, check the back of your groceries, a lot have Spanish on the back. Companies offer forms in English and Spanish, heck the DMV even offers the driving test in Spanish. Common sense would tell you, if all street signs etc are in English, how are they going to read them?
In addition, if someone you encounter does not speak English they seem to put it on you that you need to come up with someone to speak Spanish to them. Why is the burden shifted to me, to communicate with you because you do not speak the language taught here? Very confusing.
I think as I get older and the local population around me becomes what it is, I am becoming less tolerable. I am tired of people holding the hand out for a handout when they aren't lifting the finger to better themselves and work for it.
Your points are exactly on target. If you want to be in this country so bad, why do you want to continue ways of life that obviously led you to want to leave? I think this every time I see a hispanic woman at the grocery store or my childs school who is pregnant and has 5 other small children with her. Sorry to anyone offended but if you can't afford to raise them, don't have them as it isn't my job to pay for them... or so I thought as I am finding out I am paying big time.
produce your ID, this made me laugh. I cannot even get in my building for work without ID and you are right - every where I go I get asked for ID. Next time I should ask them back if they are attempting to check my status.
Has anyone ever looked at what other countries require? For example, Australia - if you want to move there to retire they more than likely will reject you. They want average age, good education, financially stable and well a productive member of society to be in their country. You cannot just go there and receive benefits such as medicaid because you wanted to go there and had no money and yeah you brought all your kids with you. Productive member of society!! Why isn't that what we want? I don't understand...

Check out "The Obama Deception" You can watch the full version on Youtube or get it from Netflix. I was confused also, but after watching it, I never saw the govt the same way again. It tells the truth - even tho we may not like what the truth is...Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
