Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush courted Wall Street donors on Monday, saying that he could not understand amnesty opponents who made no sense to him.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, Bush addressed a Manhattan Institute crowd along with Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), who has also embraced amnesty legislation, and doubled down on his support for an immigration reform bill that the Congressional Budget Office determined would lower the wages of American workers while not securing the border.

"For the life of me I have a hard time understanding why people are fearful of our own heritage, our own history," Bush reportedly said. "The rules are you come to this country, you pursue your dreams, you create value for yourself and your families and others and great things happens to you and to our country. Why would we ignore that at time when we need to restart and rejuvenate our economy? It makes no sense to me."

Bush has said illegal immigration is an "act of love" and also is a huge proponent of Common Core. He has been relentless in promoting amnesty and pushing for Common Core as he ponders a 2016 presidential run.

A recent Washington Post poll found that a majority of Americans would not vote for Jeb Bush in a general election, and some attendees reportedly complained of Bush fatigue in an appearance in which Bush was well received by more moderate Northeastern Republicans.

I certainly under stand why opposing amnesty makes no sense to Jeb Bush. It is only indicative of the family. At days end, his father and brother made little to no sense to voters! Common sense is a heritage, has to be in the family genes, I do not see it here!

The Bush plan all along was to bring them all over here and give them amnesty. If it had not been for the Tea Party it would already have happened. It looks like they are intending on loosing yet again. Makes you wonder if they are in the Hillary camp.

Please Jeb explain how millions of under educated with no skills restart and rejuvenate our economy, it will help your friends in the business world with cheap labor and selling junk products from China while the rest of us must subsidize your silly ideas with hard earned money.
Jeb and his buddies don't know or perhaps don't understand you must build and sell quality products in order to maintain a high quality middle class life. Where do you Jeb see all these millions working, we now have some 93 million people not working, on this path how long can we survive, but as a progressive guess you feel big government can take care of everyone.
