Report: Pilot Was Punished By TSA For Shooting Video Highlighting Security Lapses

Just in time for the holiday travel rush this Christmas Eve, an unnamed commercial pilot claims he was punished by the TSA for posting videos to YouTube highlighting what he believed to be lapses in America’s airline security program.

According to a report on CNN’s American Morning, the pilot narrated the videos, which were shot by the pilot in San Francisco. In one video, he points out potential security weaknesses, including a door that opens directly from the airport building to the supposedly highly-secured airfield:

“I was trying to bring up the obvious, ludicrous TSA-type of security,â€

So does this mean the pilot is unarmed in the cockpit now? Feeling safe with TSA now?

SHUT THE TSA DOWN! Keep these federal goons out of the cockpits and airports. Not one thing they are doing is making US safer than we were before the TSA. We waste $7 billion a year of taxpayer monies on these morons. Stop the nonsense. Let airlines and airports establish their own security and screening measures and make people who fly and ship cargo on those planes pay for it.
