We will never solve this problem through the US DOJ. Deportation orders have to be moved back to DHS, out of DOJ.

No one branch of our government can solve this problem, not the way our immigration laws are written. Excessively whining about it isn't going to do any good. DHS has their function and DOJ has theirs.

Wake me up when DOJ solves their 8 year back-log in deportation orders and that was as of last year, so it's already a 9 year back-log in deportation orders which grows every month.

You know that looks like, sounds like, costs like, and walks like DOJ AMNESTY to me. I hope no one construes this as "excessive whining".

That backlog didn't happen under the current administration. Maybe the problem will end or be greatly diminished under this administration. One minute you claim Trump has the magical ability to fix everything and the next your exhibiting lack of confidence in his abilities and the abilities of his appointed cabinet members ....... most confusing.

It's not magical ability, it's just competence. Trump is an extremely competent person, some of the people who work for him aren't so much. I've never claimed Trump has solved this immigration disaster that he inherited. In my opinion, he has to develop a plan that works outside of our government agencies who have proven themselves incompetent on the subject and doesn't require any legislation or additional funding from Congress until such time as Republicans have a majority in the US House and at least 60 seats in the US Senate.

So what's your solution, hire more left-wing judges to speed up the process by granting everybody amnesty?

Actually, it's not so much that they're incompetent, but that they have to work under the constraints of law. Personally, I think our Secretary of DHS is in over her head, but our U.S. Attorney General, on the other hand, has repeatedly shown his dogged determination to do all he can within the bounds of the law to rectify the problem under his purview. It certainly would be helpful if Trump would throw him a bone once in a while instead of always criticizing him over the Russian probe issue.

A lot of criticisms, but very few reality based solutions.
