Top pick explores the 'harmonization' of North America

The "Security and Prosperity Partnership" is an agreement among the leaders of the U.S., Canada and Mexico cast as a plan to enhance the region's economy and safety. But in Jerome Corsi's new book, "The Late Great USA," he explores whether it could be a step toward the ultimate downfall of the U.S., and fans of Shop.WND.com have made it the best-seller for the second week in a row.

Corsi describes the "regional integration" promoted by the SPP as the same kind of regional integration plan that led Europe to form the EU.

According to Corsi, the elites in Europe who wanted to unify the continent knew "it would be necessary to conceal from the peoples of Europe just what was being done in their name until the process was so far advanced that it had become irreversible."

The book explores whether the same thing is happening to the U.S. and whether its sovereignty now has a limited lifespan.

Corsi has used dozens of documents secured through the Freedom of Information Act to help make his case, describing in chilling detail a possible "harmonized" future for the U.S.

Special features experts such as Lee Strobel, Jonathan Wells, Phillip Johnson, Michael Behe and Ann Coulter explain why evolution is a bad idea that should be discarded into the dustbin of history.

Coulter, an author and columnist, said Hitler simply was applying Darwinism to life.

"He thought the Aryans were the fittest and he was just hurrying natural selection along," she said.

Darwin's unproven belief that all life is the result of time and chance laid the foundation for the genocide of Nazi Germany, the book explains.

"As a disciple of Darwin, Hitler simply tried to accelerate evolution by subjecting some 12 million men, women, and children to a horrible death in the Holocaust," the book says.

In third place is "Mysteries of the Dead Sea Scrolls, a hot-off-the-press DVD from New Liberty Videos that combines fascinating video footage with up-to-date information into a compelling educational experience.

Divided into parts that make it ideal for a discussion group, it opens with leading Dead Sea Scrolls expert Joel Lampe sharing behind-the scenes details of the 19,000 pieces that make up the collection.

-I don't think your post is directly about immigration.

-Hal Lindsey was a plagiarist par excellence, who almost stole verbatim from previous writers, schooled at Dallas Theological Seminary.

-Evolution as a natural science view was taken up by a number of politicians for their own purposes. Ever hear the phrase Social Darwinism, as applied to European Social movements, long before Hitler? I don't think that means it is an invalid scientific view.

-The late Dr. D. James Kennedy adopted town of Orlando, Florida has one of the very highest crime rates in the US. If Kennedy was so influential why did he not reduce crime in his own city?

-Proponents of Fundamentalist apocalypticism keep modifying their interpretation to fit the changing political landscape. One thing they were very succesful in, though, was in convincing the Bush administration that the UN was so evil it could not continue an investigation in Iraq, despite the sucesses of USMC Captain Scott Ritter. Thanks, fundamentalists for your trillion dollar Iraq war which has no end in sight.

If we are going to have a discussion of the soveriegnty of the United States and the hazards of uniting in any sort of North Ameican Union could it be done without the sensationalism?
