A longtime advocate of border fencing is Western Iowa Congressman Steve King, who spoke about immigration reform during a town hall in Spencer, Iowa on Tuesday.
That topic might come up at a debate between the Republican presidential candidates that King will help moderate on Monday.
However, there's another hot button issue he wants the presidential hopefuls address right out of the gate.
"I think we all have to everything we can do to undo Obamacare and I want the next president to take that oath, and follow through on that and sign the repeal immediately after they take the oath of office on January 20th of 2013," said King.
Six presidential candidates will answer questions from King and South Carolina Senator Jim DeMint on Labor Day. It's the third in a series of debates, which King hopes will show the common ideals of the states leading the nominating process. Debates have already been held in Iowa and New Hampshire.
King says he's waiting until after the debate to publicly announce which candidate he'll support.

Since Perry laughs at the idea of a physical fence will be interesting to know if he would station troops with more than bean bags , free water and rest stations along the border. What does Perry think about the virtual fence? The Berlin wall was very effective. Over the total time it was in use only an estimated 5000 people made it , and less than 200 were shot? Before the wall 3.5 million defected. Perry really should have paid more attention in History class.

King will have a difficult time with Perry; two of Perry's largest Elitist Political Contributor's bottom lines depend on ILLEGALS either by cheap ILLEGAL labor or their business utilize the ILLEGALS as their primary customers.

Debates mean little to me, it would be rare to hear truth, what we must be careful of is allowing media to pick our candidates they normally will marginalize anyone "they" don't want, media, Dem's and GOP do the same thing. Talking heads like Oreilly/Rove will smile as he works to diss candidates except Romney,it's become an art form.
Personally I look at there lives, school, friends, problems with the law, jobs they held, etc all this make the person, not answers to silly questions. What we do in life is more important then what we say, classic example is our current president.I'm old with many opinions few solutions.

I don't think this is going to be a regular debate.
